“When I first entered the Economic Development profession, VEDA supported my professional growth by awarding a scholarship so that I could attend the Basics Economic Development Course at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. I’m not sharing the date or year that I completed Basic J. Over the years, I’ve regularly attended the VEDA conferences and roundtables, which have served as a resource to keep me abreast of recent economic trends/resources and further enhance my professional development. In the near future, I look forward, along with my other City team members, to hosting a VEDA Conference as Hampton has a number of new developments that are scheduled for completion in a one to two-year time period.”
