Chesterfield County’s Economic Development Department is seeking a high energy Associate Project Manager to provide a variety of project support and marketing functions to Economic Development staff. Position responsibilities include: assisting in the execution of marketing strategies, tactics, collateral and events; coordination of marketing surveys and questionnaires; assisting in organizing trade shows, responding to RFI’s; researching, writing, editing and proofreading a wide range of print and web-based materials. Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in a professional sales/marketing positions or economic development capacity; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Familiarity with economic, community and/or business park development preferred. Demonstrated experience with product development, marketing and promotion campaigns and events. Functional use of MS Office Suite. Experience working with web-based communications. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as excellent oral and written communications skills required. Good driving record required. Must not reflect a total accumulation of six or more negative points within the past three years or a major violation within the past four years.
