The Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to work from our Abingdon location. Essential functions: administer, enforce compliance with state and federal related regulations and provide technical assistance to the design professional, contractors, builders, code officials, state agencies and the general public; conduct inspections and perform plan reviews for the USBC and IBSR; assist in development of state and national code changes and provide consultative services for state agencies and local code officials.
