For the communities we serve as economic developers, there is no doubt we are in uncharted territory. The spread of novel coronavirus COVID-19 has impacted the Commonwealth and the businesses we serve in ways we couldn’t have imagined.
What we can imagine, though, is the other side of this crisis.
What we can imagine is how to support each other.
What we can imagine is coming together as professional economic developers to find ways to help lift our communities and businesses, our friends and neighbors, out of challenging times.
What we can imagine is charting a way forward.
Now more than ever our communities need the leadership and knowledge of professional economic developers.
And that is what the Virginia Economic Developers Association can provide.
